ABOUT US

Why I Began

From a young age, I've always I had an artistc soul but was held back by others because what they thought was best for me. At the end of 2023, I couldn't hold back this creative energry anymore, and what became of it was The Heron.

My passion for clothing started with streetwear in my early 20's but develop more into craftsmanship and processes as I matured. Overtime, I felt more disconnected to the brands I once loved, as I felt I wasn't the actual the core customer, they told stories that wasn't meant for me.

So I decide to make what I wished I had.

The Heron exists to clothe artists who are committed to refining their craft for life, relaxed silhouettes made in Japan from materials with character and depth.

Thoughts on craftsmanship

Real work deserves respect.

We live in a time of over consumption and fast fashion. I am to make products that stays and grows with you over the years.

I've learned that this can only be achieved by utilising the highest level of craftsmanship.

Craftsmanship isn't just about stitching or fabric weight.
It's intention and dedication that someone care enough to do it right.

That's how a garments stays with you, long after the hype's gone.
